Os Green Day estão estúdio a trabalhar num novo disco com o produtor Butch Vig (Garbage e Nirvana).

A revelação foi feita pela vocalista dos Garbage, Shirley Manson, no programa «Last Call With Carson Daly», a propósito do futuro da banda. Já em Agosto se tinha falado de um possível encontro entre os Green Day e Butch Vig.

Acrescentando alguma informação à notícia saída ontem, Butch Vig também produziu o albúm "Siamese Dream" dos Smashing Pumpkins e nos Garbage acumula as funções de baterista, compositor e produtor.

Sendo Butch Vig um dos produtores mais apreciados e conceituados, as expectativas estão em alta para o próximo trabalho dos Green Day.
